So it’s day 5 here and we have 1 more day to go. Actually, technically speaking today is the last day of chemo and we are just going to be waiting for the Mesna to finish up tomorrow morning, and we’re free to go! Brian cannot wait to go home and neither can I. Staying here makes you so home sick. We just want some real food, not hospital crap. When we get home tomorrow, I am going to make Brian some spaghetti with meat sauce. We had it the other day and it was sooooo good. I added a ton of meat to the sauce and it turned out perfect. I also cannot wait to get home to see Nimbus and to be able to walk with Keriann and Terrance too. I really enjoy it! Hopefully we get out really early tomorrow. I would like to be home by noon or early afternoon.

Day 3

So today is day 3 here at FCCC. I woke up once again to a bird trying to break into our room through the window. I also woke up with my right eye on fire. But whatever. I just threw some Visine in there and hopefully it will go away after a while.

Brian is still sleeping, but I did order breakfast for the two of us. I’ll wake him up when it gets here.

Anyway they are going to start his chemo treatment for the day soon. The nurse came in a little while ago and said it was on it’s way. He’s been doing really well with the treatment actually. He didn’t get sick at all yesterday, which is a huge relief because the first day he was sick about 2 or 3 hours after the treatment stopped. If all goes well we should be home a day early, which is Saturday. Then Brian and I have a day to enjoy each others company before I go back to work on Monday.
